BHRT are to decide on whether they will participate in Eurovision 2016 next week, but it appears that an act may have been formed for Stockholm.
Bosnia & Herzegovina are going to make their final decision in the middle of next week Avaz.ba is reporting. Lejla A. Babović the Head of International Affairs at BHRT has told the newspaper that the channel is doing all they can to get the resources and funding together to participate in the contest.
Avaz.ba is reporting that a trio has already been selected to represent the country next year in Stockholm. Fuad Backović Deen, Dalal Midhat-Talakić and Croatian cellist Ana Rucner have signed an agreement with BHRT to participate at next years contest. Participation of the three artist is dependent on BHRT being able to secure 25,000 Euro to pay the participation fee required by the European Broadcasting Union.
To date a total of 40 countries have publicly announced they are participating in the 61st Eurovision Song Contest. This is 1 country short of the 41 countries announced as participating by Eurovision Song Contest Executive Supervisor, Jon Ola Sand.
