According to Mako.il Israel will once again be using “Rising Star” to select their participant for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016.
“Rising Star” also known as HaKokhav HaBa has finished its casting rounds for the 2016 edition of the competition. The competition was won by Nadav Guedj this year who went on to represent Israel in Vienna with “Golden Boy”. Nadav brought Israel back to the final for the first time since 2010, he finished in 9th place in the final with 97 points the countries best result since 2008.
The dates for the Rising Star shows have not yet been announced.
